View wizard scale default

While doing a draft with many part details when you run the wizard it always defaults to best fit so each time I have to hit the button to set it to sheet scale. I would think the last setting should stick or there should be a setting. Or I'm missing something.

no real help here @bshand,  just confirming that I cannot find any setting nor REG hack. Smiley Sad

Hi @bshand

I will give it a look when back in the office.

In the meantime I only can give You an easement but no solution, and this would be, that You put that function on the Radial Button Menu to shorten up the movements, necessary to get it.

I know, this is not You are looking for, but maybe it helps a little.

regards
Wolfgang

Not a bad suggestion, @hawcad. Good to know I got two powerhouses to investigate.

Good chance this falls into the ER category.

Unfortunately, @hawcad, that particular button is not available in the customization dialog.

Hi @bshand

OK, point to You, so the next opportunity I have for You is to use a saved "Drawing View Wizzard" set.

I just tested this and found that the scale option also is saved in the View Setting

See video for better understanding my bad explanations.

(view in My Videos)

And if You save this option to Your draft template it automatically will take it for any new view!

Wolfgang

Nice! And it's nice that the last used saved setting sticks. It would be useless if it didn't.
