View your Solid Edge models in virtual reality?

Has anyone experimented with VR systems like Oculus or Google Cardboard?

Has anyone translated their Solid Edge models into a VR environment? Are there companies or systems that can do this?

While virtual reality visualisation tools were once the domain of large corporations, they are now widely available. I did a quick search of these forums and didn't find much mention of VR, although visualisation tools such as Keyshot seem to be popular. What is the next step? I want to walk around my creations rather than just look at them on the monitor Smiley Wink

I believe our product team is working on this area so hopefully someone from that team will chip in on this.

Dan Vinson from our product team just modeled a version of the Google Cardboard viwer in Solid Edge - I just tried it out and it is really nice. We 3D Printed it on our Makerbot 3D Printer. You can download the .stl files or parasolid files from GrabCad
