It's hard for me to pick just one thing, so I'll start off with a few things:
Told you it was hard for me to pick to pick just one. I've got more, trust me...
Sorry my friend I have no favorite new thing. I have to say, that Solid Edge ST9 is the best new version in the past years.
Fresh, cool, "tasty" like a glass of orange juice!
Great job! Cheers!
ST9 had no really big things, it's more of an fine-tuning version with an lot of small good changes.
What I'm exiting about is:
Here's something simple but was a serious pain in the rump.
!!Part Painter resets Parasolid body color!!
Having to deal with NX, SW and other Parasolid based CAD tools this is a major win. Simple solution to an old problem.
Support for high-resolution monitors
Solid Edge ST9 has improved support for bitmaps, controls, and other graphic elements displayed
on high-resolution monitors (3K, 4K, and higher). Although high-resolution monitor support is
available for both Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10, Windows10 offers superior dots-per-inch
(DPI) scaling capabilities.
This is a good move forward in support of touch devices with higher resolution screens and the newer xK monitors but I truly wish that there was a simple tool like a slider that you could use to change the resolution. This slider would then set the appropriate settings in Solid Edge and Windows Settings. It's a good first step I'd just like to see it better "packaged".
Export as excel file and sort with excel functions... its not the best solution but it works when you are like us and have nearly 200 materials to juggle when a new one gets added.
