can I edit multiple parts in assembly using single 2D drawing.

If I have one assembly consist of 4 parts and I want to edit all four parts using single 2d drawing, e.g. I want to cut all parts using one circle. Do I have to copy that circle in all four “part files” or can I cut using only one circle in assembly?
