creating one solid body from an assembly

I know there is a lot of topics talking about this. But I tried all the options I saw and still not working.

The thing is, I've got a huge assembly (around 3.000 parts) and i need to send it to a costumer. I would like to send it as a one body so he can't change anything.

I tried to save is as a part but when i open it, there is a lot of construct bodies (like 1.000 of them) and it looks like a mess. Also, I tried to merge the bodies but it crashes saying something about booleans.

There is any easy way to do it?

Kind regards

J

Hi

Then in the Pathfinder
Click the right mouse button
Save As.

Simplification supports single storage in Par format.

It may not be a good way.
It's just one way ... ^^

The best thing is to support [* .par] when saving with a different name.

Can you use the Part Copy command in a part file? Create a new part and use the Part Copy command. It will allow you choose an assembly file and bring it in as a single part copy feature.

Hi

There are assemblies that can not be loaded in this way.
Especially for large assemblies, an error occurs when loading.
I need a countermeasure here.

It freezes every time I try to do it. I guess there is a problem with big assemblies.

Would it be possible to save as a .stp file, and then open with a .par template to create it as a single part file? I thought I'd done this before, but sometimes forget my own name............

I've used Edge Publisher.  It's a 3rd party software.  You can ask for a trial and try it.
