I figure this is graphical/drivers related seeing as I am running on a pos Dell E-5440.
Yes, I suspect the same......I have seen this also, after long sessions with heavily detailed assemblies, and flipping in/out of the individual models. A quick restart of SE always clears it up though.

I also have this when I use Intel HD video adapter but if I switch off and use Quadro K1000m not have this problem. I think if your computer have Nvidia card and you also switch off Intel HD your problem will be solving.
