editing flanges

Most of the videos that I have seen only show on how to create different flanges from edges and more flanges from that as different contour edges.

the problem that I have been comming across is that when I am working within my sheet metal, The flange that I need is typically shorter than the entire edge of the sheetmetal.

ergo; 20 inch edge and I need only a 11 inch flange with an outside metal bend.

Is there a instruction on hos to do this?

Thank you so very much!

Hi @Lex-luthor

there are several way to achieve this, depending on wether You are in Ordered or Synchronous

In ordered mode You have the option tabs when creating the flange/contour flange

In sync, You also have one option for complete edge or partial edge (not mor as in ordered)

And You also can move the side face of any flange afterwards using the steering wheel.

I always work in ordered since it is sheetmetal parts and thank you very much for video.  That helped a great deal and explained alot of things.
