Re: flat pattern

willing to bet its the floating tab inside the R letter. it needs to be attached to the rest of the plate with a small tab (to be manufacturable).

fair point, but how do i go about reattaching it, without have change the font?

Re: flat pattern

just add a tab feature that adds material connecting the two however you want.

Re: flat pattern

one more stupid question, how do i get flat pattern drawing on daft file?

Re: flat pattern

When you do a drawing of sheet metal, one of the options in the view wizard is whether you want to do a view of the folded or flat. Most people do two views - one of each.

Re: flat pattern

And if you are using ST6 out of the box, you don't get View Wizard by default, you get the Drawing View QuickBar.  You need to click the "Drawing View Wizard Options" button. (not sure why "wizard" is still in the names of commands on the QuickBar)...

Thanks,
