how to find mid-edge/mid-surface between two successive turbine blade

Hi guys,

First please find attached a picture of my problem.

I just imported geometry from Solidedge into Ansys designmodeler 15. Now I want to specify and sketch a line/edge or surface exactly between two successive blades in order to define flow region and apply periodic boundary.
As it is depicted in attachment.

Have you got any solution to do that in Solidedge?

Cheers

If you have created the geometry in Solid Edge, you have all of the information necessary to also create a mid surface between the vanes.

Hi,

Thank you for respons. could you provide me with some resources to find out how to find mid distance between vanes?  Or just give me clue for it.

As I mentioned before, the reason to find the mid vane is to define periodic boundry condition in cfx. unfortunatly when the geometry is imported to ANSYS design modeler or BladeGen it is like a frozen body and I have no controle to manipulate the setings.

Ta!
