isometric view dimension

Hello everyone
I want to fill the isometric view with frame spacing dimensions.
It's not important, so just mark the interval.
However, it is difficult to dimension the isometric view.

To use the PMI view ....
I think it is a waste of time because it seems to do one more thing.

Is not there a good way?

Hi @Hclee

You can use Smart Dimensions only for dimensioning within apictrual view.

Please check options for 3D dimensioning for non ISO views

Wolfgang

Hi @Hclee

see attached video.

And take care when I have created the new view somehow in space and retrieve the frist dimensions which are wrong!

Until I change the option for that view to "Retrieve 3D diemensions"

Then everything is OK.

This setting is OK for any standard picture views like ISO and so on.

but not for any user define

(view in My Videos)
d views

Wolfgang

Good morning hawcad
Very useful video.
The arbitrary view is not checked.
Thank you.
