multiple identical parts in assembly?

Creator

Is there any way to insert multiple copies of a part in an assembly without having to enter the same mate for every part?

Or, more simply, if I have 25 dongles and 25 holes that they fit in, do I have to manually mate each dongle to each hole?

Jason,

Check out the duplicate part tool that is new for ST7.  It's very powerful and quick.   There was a thread on it a few days ago.

Further to what Kyle points out, another way to accomplish this is with "patterns".

Sean is right,

If you are placing parts on existing holes, patterns is the first choice.
