Does anyone know how to print drawings to pdf with multiple sheets.
Now for example i want to make 3 drafts with 2 sheets per draft to pdf.
but if i save them the next sheet overwright the first sheet so my suplliers continuesly mis sheets.
Or i have to do a lot of extra work.
See the movie i attached to make clear of my problem

That "paper print" function doesn't deal well with print to pdf. It seems to be geared toward paper prints and "print to file" doesn't handle multiple sheets. Why not use "save as translated" selecting the pdf type? It works. It appends "sheet x" to the end of the file names.
Thanks for the reply.
The problem is that in the "save as translated" or just save ass pdf (doesnt matter) it only saves 1 file.
My application is to purchase sheet metal parts.
Sometime i order for example 80 parts at the seem time.
Our suppliers need pdf files for the production.
So i need to export 80.dft into 80 pfd filtes.
With the print to pdf file that works great, the only thing is that it doesnt save the extra sheets under the same name.
I have to agree that batch printing multisheet drafts to pdf is a problem. Maybe someone "out there" has a solution.
I use third party software to do this..
Its called edgepublisher from Arne Brohuus..
You open a assy, the software finds all the related drawing, you can check if they are up-to-date, and update them and than export them as pdf, dwg, dxf, step, etc, etc, in one go... or print..
A huge, huge timesaver....
This functionalty should be incorporated into Solid Edge... or made available to us free of charge by Siemens..

@Jan_Bos, thanks! So would one go to "batch print - a free license" and download that? For some reason I thought Edge Publisher was a defunct product.
<edit> or is it a paid product that is needed?
