Hi Edgers
I'm pretty sure this is an old issue, but can't seem to find the reference to the fix. When printing (ST10 MP3), the boudaries of shaded views obscure other views on the sheet (see image). I know that you can manually change the boundary to stop this happening, but is there an easy way or a setting that can be set to fix this from happening?
This is a scan of an actual printed file, not a pdf.

Save As > Save As Translated.
Set the type to pdf.
Click 'Options'
Tick the 'Transparent Drawing View Backgrounds' box.

Does this work with a physically printed paper copy or just the pdf? As I said in my post, this image is a scan copy of a paper print, not a pdf.

@beachcombers solution changes the PDF produced, and hence the printout. You'll have to re-export the PDF from SE to 'fix' the existing ones.

Thanks. So the answer is no, as it is not printing to a printer, but to a pdf. The process of printing to pdf and then printing the pdf is still extra steps.

you can manually edit the view boundary shape... this is my preference.

Hi @Alan
see the linked post from a time ago.
The printing with shaded views is an issue for years now.
The shown registry entry helped in the past.

Thanks, I'll give that a go.
