squeeze tube

Phenom
Phenom

For a project we will use round tube (dia 13mm x 1,5mm).

This tube needs to be 'squeezed' (pressed/flatten, I don't know how to tell this in Englisch) on different places.

After that we need to create a slot in the flat part of the tube.

Do I need to work with a sweep to simulate this or can I simply squeeze the tube with a single command?

Re: squeeze tube

Hi Joris, so far I know this must be done with indeed the sweep command.

There is not command to "chrush" the end of that tube.  you mention Sweep...  but i beleivbe you will find LOFT to be a better command to transition between two different cross sections. (round to oval)
