I think it is rubbish....
I think it is slow....
I think it is mentally confusing because it is a different type of screen....
I think it adds clicks to get to stuff compared with ST8 (My gut feel, no analysis done, and not going to do any analysis...cause that's not my job...)
I think things just get moved around for no real reason/benefit....
I think it is rubbish....

Hi,
and what exactly do You mean?

I have the same idea.
The new Application menu is not recommended.
Do I need to switch the screen when the menu is only displayed?
I hate myself.
It's more complicated and slower.
If anything good is slow, it is a failure.

My only complain is that most of the times I do use it 6 seconds or more are needed to appear

I'll add my name to the Do-Not-Like club.

I also don't like it. I have customised the Quick Access Toolbar with more buttons, such as 'Save As'.

I just with there was a way to make Alt-F open the aplication button.
Then I could use Alt-F-S = save etc...
Like every other windows program has worked since 1994. Difficult to untrain things once you have literllay used it 10 millions of times.

ALT-F-S even works in Office 2016 with the same UI format which is what Solid Edge always tries to replicate for "familiarity"reasons, except they left out some important items so it isn't all that familiar...
I would also like to mention the Office UI is super responsive and never hangs when you select the app button.

I would really love to have the super responsiveness of Office UI app button ported to ST9

Nothing more frustrating than thinking you missed the button so you click again and then it finally slides out, and then slides back in because you in fact clicked it twice but it took several seconds to activate...
