Question

Why am I getting an "INACTIVE" watermark on my drawing?

Answer

When opening drawings, an option exists in the Open File dialog box to "Inactivate the drawing views for review". The option is right below the Preview box. This causes an "INACTIVE" watermark to be displayed on top of the drawing view and you cannot edit them. If you are getting the watermark, open your drawing by clicking the other option, "Active drawing views for edit".

Also, for opened drawing, you can navigate to 'Tools' tab and then say 'Activate Drawings views' to remove the 'INACTIVE' watermark.
