Rick Mason, Director, Masco Design Services
Solid Edge has several built-in tools for checking parts and assemblies, but some are little-known despite being amazingly useful. Whether you use synchronous, ordered or a mix of the two, this session will help familiarize you with simple and effective ways of checking fit and position before manufacturing. This session will be of value to anyone using Solid Edge who needs to define how stuff is made and is intended to be for skill levels of intermediate or higher. Participants will see several live examples of using inspection/validation tools in part, assembly and draft environments. If you are interested in designing products with less errors, reduced scrap or reworked parts, this is a must attend session.
