Scott Ziemba, Director of Customer Service, Design Simulation Technologies, Inc.
If you have assemblies that move, how do you evaluate their dynamics? 100% embedded within Solid Edge, and the parent product of the built-in Simply Motion, Dynamic Designer helps users determine the physics behind their Solid Edge assemblies. Understanding characteristics such as displacement, velocity, acceleration and force, before the first prototype is built, not only reduces the number of prototypes, but also production cost, time to market and warranty cost. We will demonstrate how to setup, run and analyze a Solid Edge assembly for kinematic motion performance and also how the forces calculated from the motion simulation can be transferred directly to Solid Edge Simulation, as boundary condition inputs for a structural analysis. This session is for designers and engineers at any level of experience with Solid Edge.
