Can't complete non-symmetrical ordered extrude

N/A
In the ordered environment, I can't complete a non-symmetrical extrude. I select extrude, create a sketch etc (eg a circle), select non-symmetrical extrude, define a distance and direction (side) for Direction 1....then it asks me for a distance for Direction 2. Well, I don't want any extrusion in this direction but it won't accept a zero distance.

All I want is for the sketch to be extruded in one direction. Am I using the wrong command? I can't complete the command because I can't get past this stage and end up cancelling the whole stage. In synchronous it's not a problem but there must be a solution for ordered. Hopefully I'm just missing something obvious.

This has been bugging me for weeks. Please help!

Thx, Jena

You have 3 extrude options one sided is performed by turning off both symmetric and non-symmetric options.

Brilliant! Thanks Ken. I knew it was going to be very simple - thanks for the hint. I suppose it was rather obvious!

I don't know about obvious... They give you buttons for two options but there is a third option with no button. Not real obvious in my book and it has caught up more than just a few folks. Glad I could help.
