Importing faceted only .jt files

N/A
I have a jt file that contains only faceted data. When I try to open the file it says that I have to open the file in the ordered environment. The problem is that I do not have the original file that this was created from. I need to take this data and overlay it on a model that I have. What I am trying to open are weld points for a larger assembly. so the faceted objects are just points in space.

I guess I don't understand the issue... You open it and if you need it overlayed on another model, take the resulting SE file created and use Insert Part Copy in the existing model to insert the converted file into it.

Would that still work Ken.....given there would likely be no solid bodies in the file?
Autotool,....can you post the JT file to this thread?

Yea, probably not. IPCs need solid geometry. Good catch...
