Installation Issues (Previous Version of Solid Edge on Machine)

N/A
Every time I try to install Solid Edge on my computer I get an error message stating that I already have a previous version of solid edge installed on my computer and to uninstall it using Programs and Features. Solid edge is not a program installed on my computer nor is there any program files on my C drive for it.

I did try to install the program a few weeks ago but the installation failed half way through.

I was just wondering what I can do to correct this issue.

Here are the steps to manually uninstall and clean up any Solid Edge
installed software:
1. Uninstall the Solid Edge software using Add/Remove Programs.
2. Manually delete the Solid Edge program folders typically in
C:\Program Files and/or C:\Program Files (X86).
3. Manually delete the Solid Edge user preference folder
%APPDATA%\Unigraphics Solutions.
4. Manually clean up the registry by deleting any Solid Edge registries
in the following locations:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Unigraphics Solutions
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Unigraphics Solutions
5. Reboot the workstation.
6. Attempt to reinstall the software again.
