Installation on multiple computers

N/A
Hi,

I'm attending a online course in solid edge and downloaded the student version.
I am currently rotating between two different workplaces, one at the university and another one at a external research facility, which also belongs to the university.
In order to efficiently take that course I would much appreciate installing solid edge on both my computers.

Is this possible with the license file I got? Or is there any possibility to get a second one?

Thanks in advance!
Alex

Hi Alex,
It is no problem at all to install it on both computers; the license file is
not bound to the computer, but to you as a student.
Assuming that you use it as intended, for your study, it should not be a
problem to use it in both places.
But maybe someone from Siemens could clarify this, there are no technical
problems to do this.
Have fun learning Solid Edge...

Re: Installation on multiple computers

Hi Jan,
I suggested the license file being bound to a single computer. At least that's what I experienced with other student/trial versions of other software.
Thanks a lot for your answer.
Kind regards,
Alex
