I am using a large assembly with sub assemblies. I would like to open another assembly with a different assembly but, using the parts from the previous assembly. Do I rename 35 parts each and every part for the new assembly or just rename each sub assembly. I've been using a Temp Folder to rename and hold. Any thoughts!

Thank You

Both can do.

It depends on what you will do in the future with the parts.

If the parts need to be the same you just use the same part file. If the part will change in the new (sub)assambly you better copy all trough revision manager.
