License utility

Im trying to finish downloading solid edge, but when I go to license utility, it tells me that the Solid Edge License file is currently in use, and won't let me enter my license even though I have nothing else running on my computer. How do I get past this so i can finish installing the software?

I believe you can exit the license utility, make sure your license you
received is named "selicense.dat" and you can copy it to "c:\program
files\solid edge st4\program" (Solid Edge install folder). Rename the
one that already in the folder to "selicense.old" prior to copying the
new one.

Thanks friends, I solved the problem. Taking advantage of the contact, can still have a new file in the traditional version ST4?

Hello. I had the same problem. I solved it when I replaced the license.txt by the license.dat.
But I have a new problem, they ask me the name of the servor..
Can you help me please?
