I installed a Solid Edge and now when I want to enter to a Solid Edge he say me that I have no license.
I read what I got in E-mail (how to do license), but now when I'm trying to enter to a Solid Edge open some window with the problem:
Form other threads on this forum: To apply the license after installing Solid Edge 1. Save the electronic file to a convenient location. The default filename will be SELicense.txt. 2. Start the License Utility (located in the Solid Edge program group on the Start Menu in the Licensing section). 3. Next click "Browse" in the dialog box, and navigate to the file. You may need to change the file type in the License Utility to *.* to locate the license file with .TXT file 4. The License Utility program will automatically copy the file to the Solid Edge Program folder. 5. You should be able to run Solid Edge, look for it on the Windows start menu and launch the application. And Try renaming the license file from SELicense.txt to SELicense.dat. Make sure it is not SELicense.dat.txt as Windows does love to add extensions if you have them hidden in the folder options. Then save it in your C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST4\Program folder. You should overwrite the existing file.

Nope, just use Windows Explorer but make sure that you do *not* have hide file extensions enabled in explorer otherwise the file will become named SELicense.dat.txt On 2/29/2012 12:18 PM, email@example.com wrote: > David Merritt;219186 Wrote: >> >> Try renaming the license file from SELicense.txt to SELicense.dat. > Renaming the license file in "License Utility", in the dialog box near > the "Browse"? > >
