Working in KM units?

I've been playing around and learning a lot about the software. Just for fun, I thought I'd build a static model of the solar system, but when dealing with KM and especially when dealing with large distances (orbit radii), the software seems to struggle.

Sketches become unselectable (for revolution for example), line weights of sketches become very heavy when working in sketch mode. Revolved spheres (when they work) become strange diamond shapes - although the assembly commands still recognize them as spheres.

I tried turning the precision settings all the way down to no avail.

Is there some other setting I need to adjust to make working in this scale do-able?

Or is my computer just completely overwhelmed by the vast hugeness of it???

Solid Edge, as all other mechanical systems is fine tuned to mechanical design -- basically from 1 KM down to .000001 inches. You would need to work at scale to do the solar system.
