Hello,
I am starting having requests from customer with differents versions of AMESim (14/15)
We have "newly" installed V14, and now we have a request on V15.
I thought I could switch easily between versions, but I tried to open V13 for instance, and became error (from Windows, not AMESim)
Question: do I need a special tool for switching between different AMESim versions? I know there is (was) AMEVer tool
Thanks for any informations
Maxime

Hello,
It works, if you change environmental variable path in windows system.
system variable --> C:\Program Files (x86)\LMS\LMS Imagine.Lab\v1500\Amesim

Hi mAx,
in $AME/misc you will find a RunAMESimTemplate.bat which should allow you to run specific Amesim versions.
You need to edit that bat file to specify the path of the current version.
If that still fails, please use GTAC to raise an Incident Report.
If that works, you can copy a shortcut to this bat file on your Desktop and rename it to "Amesim xx"

hi guys,
Thank you for your solution .
i Have a big answer, is not possible to run Amesim 13.2 and Amesim 14.2 without modifying every time the system variable AME= ?
I have a client where are installed the versions 13.2 and 14.2 but if i give to $AME=Amesim1320 when i want to start 14.2 i receive the windows error and also it applies the other way
thank you

Hi Daniel95,
here's what you can do:
- you modify the bat file located in each Amesim installation folder as described in my previous post
- you create a shortcut to these modifed bat files on your Desktop, rename the link, modify the "Start in" location and change its icon to make it look nice
- you can do that for as many Amesim versions as you like

Thank You.
I will try but i don't know if it will work because our Standard Users doesn't have admin permission on pc.
I'll let you know.
