While importing excel Data in AMESim with the import tool, I have the possibility to select rows for header and units.
While the row unit can be automatically updated in the *.dat file, I cannot automatically update the name of the Y values.
For instance if I import an excel file with time[s]; pressure[bar]; flow rate[l/min]
At the end of the import process I get a plot with item 1[bar] and item 2 [l/min]
I wanted to have directly pressure[bar] and flow rate[l/min].
Is it possible ?
Thank for any tipp

Hi @Emmanuel_D ,
I am writing right now a python script for importing customer measures in amesim.
I come again across this issue by renaming "item"
I can work with a workaround in rev16 by exporting the plot file in *.plt and then editing this file.
I switched to rev17, by I don't see the feature you mentionned, eg: using header_row in import xls for automatically renaming items
Do you have an example?
Not that I know...
But there is a plot API which does allow you to create custom plots. In a way it would allow you to script what you have done to create the plt file in the first place...
