4 tier architecture- Question about Web Application and Tcserver

Hi, I am learning 4 tier archtecture.

And I set Jboss as web application server and I set 30 of Tcserver.

The GTAC references say that TcServer is used to execute business logic. But before learning web application, I thought JBOSS is used to execute program.

So I got confused about this points.

I have three questions.

Why do I need to set web application server?

If I try to see CAD files in TC, then how the JBOSS and TcServer works?

How do the JBoss choose one of the Tcserver (As I wrote here, I set 30 numbers of TcServers in TEM. What is the criteria to choose a correct TcServer? )

Could you please answer my three questions?

Re: 4 tier architecture- Question about Web Application and Tcserver

Rather than answer each question specifically, please allow me to direct you to the Teamcenter Deployment Guide: https://support.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com/docs/teamcenter/11.2.1/TcDeploymentGuide_TcU...

Chapters 2 and 3 of this guide provide answers to these questions in great detail.
