I am new to access manager in Teamcenter and now I would like to know how to create a rule that only allow a supplier group to see the data that is assigned to a project.
All other data would not be visible for that group
Is that possible or could it be done different?
I had to do something similar in the few weeks back, But in my case it was not the supplier's but a remote R&D Team.
Here are the steps i followed to achieve this.
1) Created Person,User,Role and Group in the Organization application.
2) Created a Project (R&D) and Added the roles to Project Administrator,Team Administrator,Previlaged and Non-Previlaged roles in that project.
3) Created an AM Rule up in the tree > In Project and created Project ACL (as per the Teamcenter documentation).
Hope this gives you some pointers to about.
Hi TC ninja,
The problem is that they will be assigned to a ongoing project. I would only like them to see one or two of the ongoing projects. But other projects that they are not assigned to would not be visible for them.
If I understand correctly you created a rule that allows the R&D team only to see the data that they create in TC nothing else?
