Active User Query

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a way to see a list of users which are currently logged into the database?  Perhaps a user query or something you can run before performing maintenance?

Thanks in advance!

In the Rich Client use the menu pick, View > Current Users. As a dba, you can even clear dead sessions with this pick.

Because the user session has either crashed or the person behind the keyboard has closed/killed it without using File > Exit as is normal. Clearing dead sessions should clean this up.

Then you'll need to contact GTAC (or your partner) to find out why those sessions are still valid or why the dead sessions cannot be removed.

After business hours, try running this in a Teamcenter command prompt after shutting down the server manager service:
clearlocks -assert_all_dead -u=infodba -p=infodba -g=dba

Then startup the server manager service and try your test again.
