I there!

Does Active Workspace run OK on this system?

What Version of SWIM are you using?

Check the value of the URL in your Teamcenter Preferences.

ActiveWorkspaceHosting.Sw2.URL: The Integration’s server installation process adds this preference and assigns a placeholder value of http://<CHANGE_ME_HOST>:<CHANGE_ME_PORT>/awc. Customers who deploy Active Workspace for SolidWorks data management must replace this value with the appropriate values for their site.

So, if you changed this value after installing the SWIM serverside, that might be a problem.  I'm kinda guessing here... Let me know what you find.

What is the Browser you are trying to use?

Check the spelling of the property in the properties file that enables AW embedded.

Do you see anything in the txdlog.txt or client_socket.log files?

Hi

  In the txdlog file we dont see the line

activeworkspace.enabled = true

The only entry from swim.properties we see is "checkout.exportdirectory = C:\SWstartwork"

It looks like you are not using the swim.properties file that you this is being used.  All of the values you set in swim.properties will be echoed into the txdlog.txt file.

Hope this helps.

Hi

  After installing SWIM, you need to configure the options you need in SWIM.Properties and SWIM.XML.

All of the lines in swim.properties that have a # as the first character are comments.  If you want to make a change in a value active, you need to have it on a line without the #.

So, I would recommend adding the line

activeworkspace.enabled = true

as the next line under the the exportdirectory line.

We provide a service called Quickstart that guides cusomters through the process of using Teamcenter, Creo/Solidworks and the CAD integration together.  There are many congiruation points in these combinations.

Thanks

 Peter
