Hello all TC-Experts,I hope you can help me with this.
I´ve got a scenario for searching all of the itemrevisions in only an Assembly which has "Release" Status.
I would like to find all Itemrevision with release status in a assembly part named "Fernsehturm"
also i´ve built some query:
In the Query builder select base class: Item Revision
To find item revisions with a specific release status: "release_status_list.name = Released"
The search result has shown all Itemrevisions with "Released" status form all of products what i have in my database, but not only from "Fernsehturm" as attachment.
has anyone ideas or experiences which attribute has to be used to solve this situation?
PS. I´m using TeamCenter 10.1.5.1
Solved! Go to Solution.
I tried to do the same, but failed.
An option other than Query Builder is to open "Fernsehturm" in Structure Manager and add column "bl_rev_release_status_list" and find the BOMLines with desired status name.
It looks like you ran a database search then you cannot limit the result to your assembly. Load the structure in Structure Manager and run a Strucutre Manager Search. There you can limit the search on the assembly.
thanks @xtof this seems to be a good option. But it requires a license ?!?
I got following error when I tried to perform search:
Error in Searching Object: No Flexlm license if available for Teamcenter optional module 'context_mgt_access'.
ok, cacheless search needs an additional license but standard search should be available. For cacheless search you don't have to load the strcutture for standard search you have to load and expand the structure.
Thank you for your help. It seem like good to find some parts in SM.
@xtof Addtional i have more question for you. If i dont have problem with license. Which relation type and form type should be entered in the SM search panel?
About relation is actualy still not clear for me.
Thank you for your answer!
In cacheless search you can select from the same list than in Search view e.g. in My Teamcenter. If you want to search for properties on forms you should use Query Builder to configure your own query.
