Cloning Teamcenter VM

We have a Teamcenter server with Oracle DB running on a VM and thinking of cloning the VMs (with change of hostname) to have more TC servers.

Will simply replacing the hostnames from installation files do the job here ?

Does anyone have experience and tips to share ?

Cloning has some very specific things that need to be changed in order to be successful and not modify files in the original environment. Besides the DB, you must also consider Volumes. GTAC has documented a method. I have my own method but won't post here.

Hello Randy, could you please provide the link to this document ?
I found only one document that talks about VMWare, but it covers only performance aspect and nowhere mentions about cloning.
Thanks for your inputs!

Search for cloning method, not VMware. Or call GTAC and ask them for the cloning doc. Good luck.
