Connecting two corporate server together

Hi all.

Is it possible to connect two corporate servers of two different companies to each other? The problem is that companies A and B both have TC same version. Company A wants to outsource a project to company B. all the parts and documents are in company A site.

So, whats the correct solution for such cases, outsourcing a project from one TC site to another site?

I think it should be complete Export from A & import to B, but i don't know how to get back the result from B to A, after project finished.

Thanks for your attention

Have you considered using Multi-site collaboration ?

Read the documentation on Classic Multi-Site Collaboration to learn how to set up your data models so that they are compatible between sites. Then you can either use Tools...Export/Import to package up the data manually, or better yet use Multi-Site Collaboration to help automate this.

Multi-Site Collaboration is the right tool for connecting two installations of Teamcenter as long as the data model is (nearly) identical. Since we are talking about two different companies, it's likely that the data models are not the same and will never be the same. You each have your own unique business requirements.

You should be looking at Supplier Collaboration and Supplier Collaboration Foundation.

As the catalogue:

"Teamcenter sponsors and their offline suppliers can be performed using Teamcenter and an HTML5 web-based browser. For example, in the design data exchange use case, the sponsor using Teamcenter who wants to share data with a supplier can create an exchange package with content intended for the supplier. This exchange package can include product structure, visualization files, ad hoc information and other files. Suppliers will receive a notification with a hyperlink to a web page where they can enter their login credentials to access the exchange package and start to collaborate with the Teamcenter sponsor."

Is it a part of Active workspace or a new software or an extention on Teamcenter?

I didn't got the idea, is it about connecting two Teamcenters site or an offline data exchange?

From what I undestand, it is for sharing FROM a TC site A TO a non-TC site B (supplier).  It doesn't work for TC A to/from TC B.

We have this problem right now where we (with our TC) have a supplier with their TC ( configured incompatibly).  The fix is to use Classic or Global Multi-Site.
