Creo attribute mapping for Mass or Volume

Builder
Builder

Hi.

I have a problem on Creo parts which have no attribute properties in TC. For example, when I apply a material, mass, volume or other attributes on part file and then saving it to TC via IPEM, I had expected these features to be present in TC properties, detail or other panes of Prt dataset.

Is there any attribute mapping for doing such things on Creo datasets or it has an simpler solution which I dont know?

Thanks

Could anyone please help me, I want to know if there is a metod to do such things without BMIDE?

If this shoyld be done through BMIDE, what are the expected steps?

Thanks a lot

There is a whole section on attribute mapping in the AdminGuide.pdf (found in the ipem directory). As long as the properties that you want to map already exist then you shouldn't need to do anything in BMIDE to map the attributes. Page 10 talks about the steps required for mapping IPEM_MASS to PRO_MP_MASS and calculating automatically (setting in config.pro). The PDF is quite helpful.
