I have installed SEEC for the integration of SolidEdge but after that when I wanted to login in Teamcenter I get this error :no management server instance is available

I restarted the Teamcenter server Manager config_Pool Service and Jboss but this has no effect!

Please see her log files:

Good Morning!

The tcserver.syslogs might contain the clue for this issue.

If syslogs are not generated, you can set TC_KEEP_SYSTEM_LOG=TRUE in pool manager server before restarting pool manager.

@Manel_PLM24 Syslogs can be found in TC_TEMP_DIR variable mentioned in TC_DATA\tc_profilevars.bat.

The default value is the TEMP folder.

Check the TEMP folder of the pool manager server.

@xerox_wgc  I find this syslog file.

in the last line it's written :

FATAL - 2019/07/15-07:42:57.493 UTC - PLMres.05712 - FATAL EXCEPTION: Top level exception handler invoked. - Teamcenter.SOA.tcserver_itk_main at D:\workdir\tc112w0715_64\src\server\tcgateway\main\tcserver_itk_main.cxx(471)

I hope you could help me.

It looks like you have some shared memory problems.

Shut down all your Teamcenter processes, remove your shared memory folder, and try the startup again.

Your shared memory folders is in C:\Users\PLMTC\AppData\Local\Temp and called V11000.2.0.20150715.00

@jonathan_morris  thank you for your reply, I tried but no effect!

I want to uninstall all the four tier and reinstall it  again maybe this can solve the problem.

Hi @Manel_PLM24 ,

Additionally you can try to regenerate the cache.

Please follow the below steps.

1. Close all Teamcenter sessions.

2. Stop Teamcenter services (Pool Manager, dispatcher,etc..)

3. Clear temp folder and delete "C:\Users\PLMTC\AppData\Local\Temp\V11000.2.0.20150715.00" folder.

4. Open a Teamcenter command prompt and run the below commands.

  • generate_client_meta_cache -u=infodba -p=infodba -g=dba -t delete all
  • generate_metadata_cache -u=infodba -p=infodba -g=dba -force
  • generate_client_meta_cache -u=infodba -p=infodba -g=dba -t generate all

5. Start Pool Manager and check.

To add to what @jonathan_morris and @xerox_wgc have stated, yes - you do have shared memory problems that appear to be related to preferences. You should not be using preferences shared memory. Follow steps 1-3 above, edit tc_profilevars.bat to disable preferences shared memory by adding:
set TC_USE_PREFS_SHARED_MEMORY=FALSE
Then follow step 4 and restart Teamcenter (Dev environment).

Another issue I spotted from the tcserver syslog is that your client is confused on the NX version since UGII_BASE_DIR refers to NX 11 while UGII_ROOT_DIR refers to NX 10. Not related to the shared memory problem.

Delete the client cache (C:\Users\<username>\Teamcenter) before starting the 4tRAC (Dev client).

Thank you all, I made all steps but nothing has changed so I uninstalled TC and repeat everything.
