Could be due to write access problems. Please check that, also try running tem.bat as administrator.

If not, would be good to see some more details from log.

The file extension is wrong ... C:\APLM\...\fsc\fmsmaster_FSC_AMWWSTEST_infodba.xml.orig. It should end in xml not orig?

The log shows that you are not able to either access the folder or the file...

Copying file C:\Users\infodba\AppData\Local\Temp\2\fmsmaster4718804445363511649.xml to C:\APLM\Siemens\TEAMCE~1\fsc\fmsmaster_FSC_AMWWS056_infodba_01.xml
An error occurred during execution. Stack trace follows...

Check that C:\Users\infodba\AppData\Local\Temp\2 exists

Check that C:\Users\infodba\AppData\Local\Temp\2\fmsmaster4718804445363511649.xml exists

Check that the user running TEM (run as administrator) is the owner of C:\APLM\Siemens\TEAMCE~1\fsc\fmsmaster_FSC_AMWWS056_infodba_01.xml

The path 'C:\Users\infodba\AppData\Local\Temp\2\fmsmaster4718804445363511649.xml' was not found.

My best guess is that ...\Temp\2\ does not exist. You can create ...\Temp\2\ to resolve the issue.

How does \Temp\ get a 2 appended? That's another story about a windows feature which is automatically "checked" ootb and relates to "Use temporary folders per session". Basically, the session number is appended (which can change).

I'm glad you were able to get the FMS Master updated using TEM. You should compare the "good" and "bad" configuration.xml files to see the difference and identify the root cause of the issue.

FCC ERROR has 4 responses and is awaiting your feedback.
