How correctly hide View PseudoFolder for my custom ItemRevision?

I delete the "view" string value from the preference MyCustomItem Revision_default_Child_Properties

but pseudofolder still appear.

Or I need also delete the same user preference that override site preference?

The easiest way to hide psuedo folders is through Edit > Options, General, Item Revision.

Select your custom IR type "Item Revision type selected" from the pulldown.

In "Shown Relations", select "View"

Click "-" and click OK/Apply

You can do this for each of your custom Item Revision types.

It's not a optimal solution for us. I want hide this pseudo folder via DBA capabilities without user interface actions, i.e force hide this pseudo folder for all users, cause removing shown relation via rich client interface must be done by end-tc_user

The user interface action anyway sets the preference value.

But sets the user-scoped value, not site

Yes you are right. BTW did the preference <ItemRevType>_PseudoFolder  work ?

I suppose that work, but if there is user-scope preference ItemRevType_DefaultChildProperties - this end_user still see View PseudoFolder. I think it's necessary to delete this duplicate user preference

To delete the User level preference:

1. Login as dba and go to Edit-Options dialog,

2. select Organization

3. Navigate to the user for which you want to delete preference

4. then search for the preference. This will display pref for that user. Click delete button (red cross)

To force all users to use site preference, change the protection scope of the preference to "site" (where default value was User)

Deleting CustItemRevType_DefaultChildProperties for end user resolved my task. Also before that I deleted the "view" value from Site preferense CustItemRevType_PseudoFolder
