Hi folks...
I need to import a txt file that is at a windows folder periodically... how can I do this?
I'm thinking in using WF but exists a way to import file to a dataset using WF OOTB?

It's not clear on which version of Teamcenter you're using but "Drag and Drop" functionality could be what you're looking for. Have you tried it yet?

You can use the ips_upload utility to upload the file/s and to use the Windows scheduler to run it.

If TC_ROOT and TC_DATA is available in your environment you can use plmxml_import. The password can be encrypted in a passwordfile, then run the command with option -pf. cron job or windows scheduler can be used to run the job periodically.

With some programming import can be done with Teamcenter SOA.
