How can I add some object as target?

Hello guys,

Can anyone give me a hint
I've two items and I created a relation between this items.
If I start a Workflow at the lowest level how can I add as target the highest one.
At my image I try to demonstrate, I'll start a WF at 000328/A and I need to access the 000327/A

try using handler "EPM-attach-related-objects" with 2 arguments -relation=relation_name  and -attachment=target

Re: How can I add some object as target?

But this only works if I start the WF at 000327... but in my sample I start WF at the lowest level, at the 000328. I don't know the relation that exist with the parent item...

Re: How can I add some object as target?

oh then I was mistaken. I was assuming here that a relation exists in both directions like in case of Design and Part item types, where Representation_for and represented_by relations exist on either item.

Re: How can I add some object as target?

You gave me a idea,
How can I create this automatic relation, like the Design and Part item types?
I test here, and when I put a Part at Representation For of a Design, automatically creates the relation Representation By.

Re: How can I add some object as target?

Not sure how that is done, it is a standard/OOTB functionality.

Re: How can I add some object as target?

As you mentioned, you could create a runtime property to create the reverse automatic relation (like representation for)...and that might help in workflow traversal.
