I've been using Hyper-V successfully since Tc10.2 (shh, don't tell anyone). The only bad experience is with copying the VM. Creating a "golden copy" that you reuse in other VM's downstream was a normal operation with VMware but is surprisingly challenging with Hyper-V. The other big surprise is that Hyper-V completely takes over your network card and gives you a virtual network card. That one took a while for me to work out when switching wired to wireless. Been using Hyper-V for over a year now.
