Of course, I have several custom ICD's that I use. One is for adding NX custom to the integration for NX solution (modifies start_nxmanager.bat). Another is for the basic install to support multiple clients on the same workstation (modifies otwportal.bat). Another is for deploying custom status icons (adds files to plugins dir). Etc.

Thanks all for your valuable inputs.

seems I got the one i am looking for.

I have shared the webapp_root folder of distribution Instance.

Placed supporting JRE7 folder inside webapp_root.

--JRE7
--jtutilities
--otwweb
|- otw.bat (Added manually inside otwweb)
|- otwinstaller.properties (Added manually inside otwweb)
--wntx64
--otw_installer.jar
--otw_installer.zip

otw.bat contains:

"..\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -cp otw_installer.jar com.teamcenter.install.otw.installer.Installer

otwinstaller.properties contains

instance=DEV_Instance
server_name=SERVERNAME.DOMAIN\:12095
Silent=
logging=FINE

mapped the shared webapp_root folder, set JRE64_HOME to JRE7 folder inside webapp_root and called otw.bat in a command shell.

Able to install the same OTW without using browser. war file deployment is also not needed for this way of installation.

Thanks
Phani

Hi Phani,

I tried this method, but the installer is not proceeding, it is showing 0%..... and struck.

Any Idea.

Got it resolved by adding commons-lang and jdom jars

otw_installer.jar;commons-lang.jar;jdom.jar
