Appreciate your reply Randy！Using a computer has separate number panel, i can input the symbol in ‘Edit Properties’ panel by the way you provided (It does not work In Summary Page). However, the symbol changes to "?" when i check-in and database displays same symbol. It seems to about DB Character set or encoding.
It should work in a standard ANSI teamcenter environment. I'm able to store the ® in an attribute in property window, in an attribute in summary view or as LOV value in BMIDE.
SQL DB encoding is Latin1_General_BIN (default).
RAC character encoding is ISO8859_1
BMIDE TextServer encoding is ISO8859_1/ISO8859_2
XML Stylesheets are UTF-8 by default
property font depends on windows font setting
Check your TC_language_* preference variables on encoding mismatch.
Sorry for the late reply Michael! I'm using Oracle Database.I have checked preference variables you mentioned and find nothing.
To see these language preferences, choose Edit →Options, click the Filters or Search at the bottom of the Options dialog box, and search for preferences beginning with TC_language.
I guess the Preference 'TC_language_default' is available only in a localized environment.
