I have a request out of one customer
He wants to have two icons for the same Item type. Depending on the content of the Item (for example, if contains a BOMview) he wants that the Item icon changes (to be able to diferenciate them in a list)
He wants to see if an Item contains a part or an assemly, just looking at the icon
I have looked for info, but i have not found anything.
Thanks for your help

I think that the best solution will be creating two item types - one for assemblies and second for parts with different icons.
If you need have a one item type, then look into second part of attached PDF. Maybe something like that will resolve your problem.
Thanks so much for the info!!!
I will check, it.
BTW, i have no idea why to put a property that indicates if the item contains a BOMLine. i will check
Hello Angel Romero!
We are trying to achieve the exact same solution.
We have one Item-Type which we use for Parts and Products (with BOM Line).
We want to display an other Icon for the Item Revision if a BOM Structure is under it.
Our problem is now that the Teamcenter documentation "business_modeler_ide_guide.pdf" on page 336 tells you that array properties are not supported in the render definitions.
Even our tries in our development environment did not bring any solution.
Your thanks comment suggests me that you have found a solution for this.
So can you please tell me how you have done it?
