Hello experts

we have users spread across Location "A" and "B"

  1. Location A users or able to load a JT assembly correctly
  2. location B users (use a FSC cache server), when they load the JT assembly few compoents are not getting loaded in visualisation, even the item type icon is shown differently

for users from other location everything works/looks fine, we cleard RAC & Fcc cache and also reinstalled the client and issue still exists

any help is appreciated

Are you using Multi-Site or is everything in one Teamcenter instance?

Any chance you can include an image of the differences in the icons?

Please attach your FMS Master.xml and FSC*.xml for location B also. Needed to see what kind of FSC you installed and if the FSC segment cache has been tuned. JT's require a segment cache (streaming).

hello randy, thanks for note. we cleared the FSC cache(it was very less size), that resolved the issue

Spend some time reviewing the contents of TC_ROOT\fsc\bin\FMSCacheSizingTool_Ver_1_3.zip. The sizing tool will help your adjust the "magic five" values for tuning the segment cache.
