JT checking in the workflow

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hallo Everyone,

i want to check with WF, if ItemRevision cointans JT file.

If yes, than give it a status (e.g. Status E)

If not, than display error mesage (e.g. Itemrevision 008923/A.001-Part4 doesn´t have JT).

All this I want to check by multiselect (i.e. before checking and status giving I select ItemRevisions: Product1, Part1, Part2).

Any Idea?

Thx.

To check JT under IR use the following handler in a validation task:

EPM-check-related-objects

-include_typeItemRevision

-secondary_typeDirectModel

-relationIMAN_specification

In case of failure route to a do-task to display a message as you want.

If the JT-dataset part of the workflow target objects, it gets the status.

if you sent more than one IR in the workflow, you have to send every single IR to a sub workflow and do the check there.

In addition to checking for the JT dataset, I had to also add a second check for our users to ensure that an actual JT file was attached as a Named Reference.  Maybe somehting to also add for you too.
