Java 9 compatibility with TC

Experimenter
Experimenter

Hello. As the TC/NX admin here I was a bit shocked to hear the company/IS department decided to start using Java 9 starting from the beginning of the next year. We use TC11.2.3 and NX10 at the moment. We have decided to upgrade to TC11.4 and NX12 but alas, budget dictates this will happen maybe in Q2/2019. My question, then, is where to find info on Java compatibility with our current TC/NX version? Is Java 9 supported or do we need to push the Upgrade before the end of the year? Does TC11.4/NX12 support Java 9?

The release notes of each product contain the system requirements, here are the ones for NX 12.

You can also search the solution center for the SFBs ( Software Field Bulletins ) about Java and Teamcenter or Java and NX.

I tried finding info from the solution center but somehow missed these. Thank you! Although...it seems our situation is a bit sketchy if Java 9 is only supported in TC12. Thanks again for the quick reply!
