Hello

I want to know if there is a way to view all the visual files like as JT (3d), 2D-Drawing and Images over the AWC or Thinclient? What product should be installed?

Good afternoon,
I did not install AWC, but I think it's a Visualization Server

Thanks, Is it something different than LifecycleViewer? What are features and prerequisite?
I've read a factsheet about Shopfloor Connect which claims that support any visualization over the web. Have any experience of this product?

No, I have not heard about Shopfloor Connect and I do not have any experience with this product.
More information about the visualization server you can read here:

@AnnaKroger

You need to set up a visualization server for AWC in order view files

Here is an example, how preview files works in AWC and it also has the capability of Geometric analysis and different viewer options

I've tried this solution without Vis Data Server and with below config:

Vis ServerManager:
    Local Host Alias: VisServerManager429
    Server Host: tcserver
    Server Port: 8090

Vis Pool Assigner (.Net):
     Host: tcserver
     Port: 55566
     4tier Url: http://tcserver/tc

But this error appeared:

VisServerManager-tcserver:55577: Could not connect to VisPoolAssigner-tcserver:55566. Retrying ...

I dont know how to test Vis Pool Assigner working state. It is deployed in %tc_root%\net_assigner and there is no log or syslog in this folder or logs folder related t it.

Could anyone help me

Thanks

You also need to try open a file from AWC, while you are running "run_visservermgr"

Then it reconnects to VispoolAssigner, pick up the resources and starts the Vis server manager.

Example :

Thanks Rafa2

If you mean openning any JT file from AWC, it doesn't works; the same error appeared in AWC client showing that visualization server doesn't works.

I think the problem may be related to VisPoolAssigner because the 55566 TCP port doesnt show anything in browser but 55577 works correctly and shows a kind of ready message.

Have you any idea?

@AnnaKroger

Check your TC_ROOT\vispoolmanager\jetty\jettyservice.properties file.

Search for VisPoolProxy.peerNodes and make sure the value is servername:55566 where the servername is the name of the web application server that is hosting the AWC

Rafa

Thanks for your replay
The configuration was available:

tcserver:55566

But it doesnt respond to VisServerManager.
Is there any other way to test assigner works correctly? Any logging option?
