Property Renders don't work on null properties?

HI,all!

I'm trying to use Property Renders and i want to have an overlayIcon on Item (or dataset) when they were assigned to a Project.Following is an example of renderer definition:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<icons Version="1.0">
<primaryIcon source="U8_Common.png"/>
<overlayIcon source="U8_AssignedProj.png" >
    <visibleWhen>
        <with variable="project_list">
              <not>
                 <equals value=" "/>
              </not>
        </with>
     </visibleWhen>
</overlayIcon>
</icons>

However,the overlayIcon always appear on object even if they were not been assigned to a Project.

Did i make a mistake? Or Property Renders don't  support null properties?

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Hello,

I dont think reference properties are supported in property renderers.

Try using the 'projects_list' instead of 'project_list'.

Projects_list is a runtime string property which is based on the assigned projects
